SOFT SKILLS TUTORIALS
SACRED HEART (2013)
This project provides access to training materials for Sacred Heart volunteers. This was created with Articulate Storyline. I applied the Agile Method to Instructional Design instead of the typical ADDIE process. |
FORKLIFT SAFETY (2013)
This tutorial trains employees on the basic principles of forklift safety. I provide opportunities for participants to demonstrate learning before moving onto a new concept. There are short quizzes and activities sprinkled throughout the training instead of one large assessment at the end. |
SPANISH COLORS (2013)
This was created to quickly assess whether students learned the colors in Spanish. This is not a training, but it showcases some quiz features in Storyline. |
|
FACEBOOK MOVIE (2014)
This was created using iMovie. All the data is from 2014 so it is probably outdated. HIRING SECRETS (2015)
I train leadership on how to perform effective and legal interviews. This is a follow up to that training where we discuss how to determine who will be the best candidate for the position. |

eLEARNING PORTFOLIOS (2016)
This was created using Camtasia in 2016 as part of the eLearning Heroes challenge. https://community.articulate.com/articles/tips-for-creating-effective-elearning-portfolios Please note that this was created for a challenge on a tight deadline. This is not a polished piece. |

JOB SEARCH TIPS VIDEO (2013)
While working for ProMatch I created this video to help others find a job. This is a quick overview of 10 strategies that helped me find a job. I used a combination of Camtasia and Powtoons to produce this video. I presented this to about 200 people during my exit interview with the group. |

EMAIL ETIQUETTE (2015)
This is a live course where we discuss how to represent ourselves and our company in a professional manner when emailing. |

SPANISH PREZI PROJECT (2012)
Spanish students teach the class about a famous Hispanic person using a Prezi presentation. They must emulate the person that they choose. This student chose Fridah (an artist) and at the end the student did a self portrait similar to one Fridah would do. |
